BREAKING: Lee Zeldin Confirms EPA, FBI, and DOJ Are Investigating Egregious Waste Before Biden’s Exit

Washington, D.C. – Former Congressman Lee Zeldin has confirmed that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is coordinating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to probe allegations of egregious waste and financial mismanagement that took place immediately before President Biden left office.

Federal Agencies Take Action

Speaking about the ongoing investigation, Zeldin emphasized the commitment of federal agencies to uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable.

“Yeah, the Justice Department and FBI have been working very closely with us,” Zeldin stated. “They’ve been working hard on this. My conversations with the attorney general, she seems very focused and motivated. Same thing when I had an opportunity to speak to our new FBI director.”

He further stressed the importance of government accountability and the need for strong oversight:

“We have to ensure that there’s accountability here, and we have to make sure that the federal government reestablishes oversight. We cannot afford for our country to have this kind of money wasted. We should have zero tolerance for even a penny of waste and abuse.”

Investigating Government Waste

The EPA, which oversees environmental regulations and infrastructure projects, has faced scrutiny in the past for spending inefficiencies and budget mismanagement. The current investigation seeks to determine whether funds were misused in the final months of Biden’s presidency.

Sources familiar with the matter suggest that the FBI and DOJ are particularly focused on large financial allocations made during that period, which may not have been properly accounted for.

Calls for Transparency

As the investigation unfolds, lawmakers and watchdog groups are urging full transparency in the process. Zeldin and other officials are calling for strict accountability measures to prevent future misuse of taxpayer funds.

With federal agencies now actively investigating, the coming weeks may bring major revelations regarding the extent of the alleged waste and the individuals responsible.
