Social media influencer Paige Spiranac isn’t thrilled with Elon Musk’s latest idea for X, formerly known as Twitter.
Musk revealed Friday that he’s going to eliminate the block feature on the platform. He wrote, “Block is going to be deleted as a ‘feature’, except for DMs.”
This pending change to X isn’t sitting well with Spiranac, who told Musk that she deals with countless impersonators on the app.
If Spiranac can’t block her impersonators, that could lead to trouble.
“I have so many impersonators on here,” Spiranac replied. “I have to block them for a number of different reasons so if you eliminate the block feature then you have to do something about all these fake accounts.”
Most of Spiranac’s followers agree that Musk’s latest idea is a foolish one.
Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion last year. He has implemented a handful of changes over the past few months and has even changed the social media platform’s branding.
Time will tell if Musk truly eliminates the “block” feature on X.
